Privacy notice
Version: draft, October 2026
This notice is about the data you leave on this website. For the webshop, the phone or the WhatsApp of a restaurant that uses Conveasy, that restaurant is responsible (see below).
Who we are
Conveasy [company name, address and company number to be filled in] is responsible for the processing of personal data on this website. Questions about privacy: [e-mail address to be filled in].
Which data we collect on this website
If you fill in the demo or contact form, we process what you enter: your name, the name and town of your restaurant, your phone number and e-mail address, the modules you are interested in, your message and the language of the site.
Our server also keeps short-lived technical logs (such as the IP address and the time of a request) to prevent abuse. This website sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics tools.
What for and on which basis
We use this data to answer your request, plan a demo and make a proposal (steps prior to entering into a contract, article 6.1.b GDPR) and to secure our website (legitimate interest, article 6.1.f GDPR). We do not use your data for unsolicited advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for as long as we follow them up and after that for at most [12 months, to be filled in] after the last contact, unless a contract follows. Technical logs are deleted automatically after a short time.
Who we share it with
Your request is stored with our hosting partner Google Cloud (Firebase) [region to be checked] and delivered to our team as a notification through Telegram. We do not sell data and do not share it with others, except where the law requires it.
Ordering from a restaurant that uses Conveasy
If you order or book through the webshop, the phone or the WhatsApp of a restaurant, that restaurant is responsible for your data and Conveasy processes it on the restaurant’s behalf, as a processor. For questions about that data, contact the restaurant. We help the restaurant honour your rights.
Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, have the processing restricted, object to it and have it transferred. E-mail [e-mail address to be filled in] for that. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
